Ashley & Christopher

So you just saw the engagement pics...now how about some wedding shots! Ashley & Christopher were married at his aunts house in dowtown Athens and it was an absolutely beautiful location for a wedding. It poured that morning but by the afternoon it was gorgeous and everything was nice and green... except this lovely dress which ended up brown by the end of the night due to the mud left behind (feel free to cringe)

Okay, I've been to more weddings than I can count so one would think that I should be a pro at pinning on boutineers, right? Yeah....WRONG! I was trying to be really helpful and pin them on the guys and snapped the stem right in two. That would explain the look of the gentleman below.

Ashley got all the girls retro (not sure if that's the right word or not) shades to wear.

Which totally called for a gangsta photo naturally.

Ashley showed the ultimate commitment even before the big day by getting this cute little tattoo of the title of their special song

This is Christopher trying to figure out how his lovely bride is going to walk around all evening in her gigantic wedges

Not sure if I mentioned it or not but Ashely & Christopher were boyfriend and girlfriend in the sixth grade-how cute is that! That's a little something me and my steady just happen to have in common with this sweet little couple. Yep--Jay was my sixth and seventh grade boyfriend...Awww:)

Christopher left these two roses in seats that were left empty in remembrance of his parents. It was so beautiful and touching. Naturally, yours truly was holding back tears (imagine that!)
The funny thing about this photo is that the reason the bride is grinning is because right in the middle of the prayer, the ice cream truck began circling the block. So the preacher's words were completely drowned out by the music of the ice cream truck. Quite hilarious.

First dance to "You and Me" (hence the tattoo) by Dave Matthews Band

Oh, and don't forget to notice the nice muddy dress. Poor thing. I felt so bad for her! But, on the bright side, it did not rain during the wedding and everything was beautiful.
Congratulations! I'm so glad I was a part of it!
